By downloading, registering on, or using the Taxi Groups application or website, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Nature of the Platform

Taxi Groups operates as a technology intermediary that connects independent, self-employed commercial taxi drivers with passengers seeking transportation. We are not an employer of any driver on our platform. Driver partners operate their own vehicles independently and are responsible for maintaining valid commercial driving licences, vehicle permits, and insurance.

2. Driver Collaboration & Booking Share Network

Drivers choosing to list excess bookings on the Taxi Groups Partner sharing network must provide complete and accurate passenger journey details. Attempting to circumvent platform commissions by arranging off-platform payments for shared bookings, or deliberately providing false trip data, constitutes a serious breach of these terms and may result in immediate and permanent termination of your driver partner account without appeal.

3. Passenger Code of Conduct

Passengers are expected to treat driver partners and their vehicles with basic courtesy and respect. Any intentional damage caused to a vehicle interior by a passenger will result in an appropriate damage fee being levied against the passenger’s registered payment method, as assessed by our support team in consultation with the driver. Abusive behaviour towards drivers will result in permanent account suspension.

4. Fare Agreement & Payment

By confirming a booking on Taxi Groups, both the passenger and the driver partner agree to the displayed fare estimate. Passengers are required to pay the confirmed fare in full upon trip completion via one of the accepted payment methods (in-app wallet, UPI, or cash). Drivers are prohibited from demanding amounts in excess of the confirmed fare.

5. Limitation of Liability

Taxi Groups provides a technology platform and is not liable for incidents occurring during travel, including but not limited to: accidents, theft, injuries, or delays caused by road conditions or third parties. All drivers maintain their own commercial vehicle insurance, and passengers are encouraged to verify this before travel.

6. Amendments to These Terms

Taxi Groups reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Registered users will be notified of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after a terms update constitutes acceptance of the new version.
